The Battle of Pervaza is considered a victory that established the dominance of the Ottoman Navy on the Mediterranean Sea for years, as it took place on September 28, 1538 near the port of Pervaza in western Greece, led by Khair al-Din Barbarossa, who defeated the alliance of the Jerusalem League led by Andrea Doria.
