The Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Turkish Trabzonspor striker, was punished by suspending his driver's license in England for a period of six months, after his Rolls Royce, worth more than 466 thousand euros, was caught speeding.

The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that Salah, 34, did not inform the police of the identity of the person driving the car, after a mobile radar detected it exceeding the speed limit in March 2026.

Last August, a court in Warrington, Cheshire, convicted Salah in absentia, for failing to identify the driver of the car. The court ruled that his driver's license will be revoked for six months, in addition to a fine of 769 euros.

Salah did not respond to two summonses to appear before the court, which were sent to his palace, which is estimated to be worth more than five million euros.

The breach took place in the Wilmslow area of Cheshire, two days after he suddenly announced his departure from Liverpool.
