The UN special rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albany, on Saturday compared Israel's killing of thousands of children in the Gaza Strip to the practices of the Nazis during the Holocaust.

This is what was written in Albanese's blog on the "X" platform, in response to the statements of the Israeli model Shari Givati to the Hebrew channel "i24".

The UN reporter republished part of the interview with Givati, during which she was asked: "Is it possible for me not to feel sad for every crying child in the world?"

The Israeli model replied: "I'm sad. But I also understand that if we don't act, this child will grow up to be a terrorist."

Albanese addressed the statements and said: "(The children will grow up). This was also the argument presented by Nazi officials during the Nuremberg trials to justify why they killed children during the Holocaust."
