The French magazine "Etgarim" reported, on Friday, that the Israeli intelligence service "Mossad" hacked the phone of Dora Katuti, an adviser on North African and Middle Eastern affairs at the diplomatic office of the French presidency (Elysee Palace).
The magazine, citing a French diplomatic source, noted that the hacking of Katuti's phone was revealed during a security check, and explained that the hack was carried out using an electronic phishing method, after Katuti responded to a fake message that she believed was sent from the Palestinian Authority.
The French Foreign Ministry has not released a statement regarding the case.
The diplomatic office of the French presidency, for its part, said that it "does not confirm this information, which contains errors", in response to what was reported about the hack.
