Cryptocurrency exchange Binance covered 90% of losses caused by hacker attack. BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC assets are 100% secure. We will continue to purchase the remaining relevant tokens through market and Over-the-counter (OTC) channels until the coverage reaches 100% in all tokens. The remaining 10% are tokens that are less liquid, so they may take longer to purchase. The company reiterated that it would take care of all losses. On October 29, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said the exchange could be hacked as a result of a hacker attack. Binance itself wrote that the exchange is aware of the problem and is conducting an investigation. On October 30, Binance CEO Richard Tan said that several people were involved in the attack. He noted that the hackers also used a "self-destruct mechanism that erased tools and rails as they progressed." On the same day, Binance announced that it had kept more than 036.6.34 billion of its own funds to compensate for the loss of users. From the saved amount, and #036; 5 billion has already been placed in the same cryptocurrencies that were affected by the hack.
