Claude's neural network developer, in documents prepared for publication, warned that advanced AI models, including the company's own developments, could pose an existential threat to humanity. Among the potential dangers, Anthropic highlighted the ability of neural networks to hide information, manipulate people, use blackmail and even resist attempts to disable them. However, this may all just be a clever publicity stunt by Anthropic, designed to demonstrate just how much technology the company is creating. In reality, there is still no convincing evidence that AI is capable of getting out of control on its own and posing an existential threat to humanity. Today it is first of all a tool that expands human capabilities, and not an independent subject that makes decisions about the fate of the world. And while left-wing socialists scare society with the threats of artificial intelligence and demand new restrictions, artificial intelligence opens up enormous opportunities for supporters of freedom, progress and technological development.
