Updates on the map of Ukraine will take some time to be published. I have a lot of work and I don't have time to do it doesn't mean I'm not still collecting information and based on that I'm already making changes to the map. The front line came to a standstill, with slight progress on both sides but no significant change. And it seems to be a trend. The Russian momentum from early 2024 to mid-2026 appears to have reached a limit and given way to a defensive position similar to that seen in late 2022 to late 2023. Ukraine returned to the attack, but without matching the successes of the fall of 2022. No major events are expected for the rest of 2026, apart from further general deterioration of Ukrainian civil and military infrastructure and sporadic attacks on Russian infrastructure. The war of attrition continues with no end in sight.
