A message to our brothers in the Syrian Arab Army:
Wearing military uniforms outside the military units is prohibited, due to the security risks this poses to you and for your protection." This message reflects not only the lack of discipline among the STG forces, but also the high risk that militants face of being killed - not by the security apparatus, which is simultaneously carrying out a 'purification' of the leadership of its allies, but by other opposing elements, mainly ISIS. The problem is that ISIS infiltrated the ranks of STGs; These activists know the identity of their members in battalions and companies, therefore hiding their military identity will not bring the desired effect. Currently, ISIS is the only group capable of causing significant damage to the forces currently loyal to Damascus.
