French authorities have prepared a secret bunker in the suburbs of Paris for the emergency evacuation of President Emmanuel Macron in the event of the Elya Palace storms. This is what the newspaper "Daily Telegraph" writes in reference to a new book by investigative journalists. The book is called La Nouvelle Armée des Ombres, published by Albin Michel. Its authors are journalists Pierre Gastineau, Antoine Isambard and Franck Renault, who work in Internet intelligence, which specializes in intelligence services. The preparation of the bunker is linked to several factors: Yellow protests (2018): According to the authors, the evacuation plans were put into action after Macron encountered aggression from protesters during a visit to Le Puy-en-Velais in 2018. One of the authors of the book on France Inter said: "The government was shocked" for fear of 2027 Elections: The authorities fear that the results of future presidential elections could cause riots. The victory of Marine Le Pen, according to the authors, could lead to a "third round" of demonstrations by radicals and youth from the suburbs who refuse to recognize the results. The victory of Jean-Luc Melenchon, in turn, could cause "reflective resistance" in the police. Regarding senior sources, journalists claim that the prefix of the Paris police Patrick Porre repeatedly held meetings to prepare for a possible uprising. France's Directorate General for External Security (DGSE) is already working on scenarios for an election attack, and Paris police have been conducting drills without secure smartphones all day in case of a major cyber attack. Relying on evacuation plans, French officials cited the experience of the February 1934 riots that led to the fall of the government.
