The promising Russian transport ship of a new generation has undergone comprehensive autonomous tests. At the same time, preparations are being made for flight tests, TASS reports, citing test cosmonaut Mark Sarov. Experts assemble models and experimental installations, practice the interaction of the crew with equipment on board and test the control systems and the layout of the work stations. The test cosmonaut noted that the ship is being created for long-distance space missions, including a flight to the moon and flights to asteroids. It is designed to achieve a second escape velocity, but the first flight tests are planned to be carried out in low Earth orbit.
