Russian diesel continues to appear on the European market under other brands, despite the European Union's ban on the purchase of oil products from Russia. Alexander Novak spoke about this in a commentary to Pavel Zarubin for the Vesti information system. In response to a question about the possibility of European countries purchasing Russian gas through intermediaries, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that a similar practice already exists with regard to petroleum products. "Such cases are possible, because Europe has banned the purchase of Russian oil and oil products, but we see that Russian diesel sometimes appears in Europe under different brands," he said.
