"Kallas has become like a scarecrow in the European Union's beautiful garden," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova responded to a statement by Kaja Kallas, who criticized Trump for inviting Vladimir Putin to attend the G20 summit. "You see, Kallas has become like a scarecrow in the European Union's beautiful garden. Usually, a scarecrow is placed to chase away birds so they won't eat the crops. But in the European Union, there hasn't been a harvest for a long time because of their incompetent gardeners, who for several years have destroyed their plots. Even the birds have nothing to covet. And the scarecrow Kallas continues to instill fear with her statements, which are aimless and foolish. No one asked her for advice regarding the G20; no one is interested in her opinion."
