"United Russia" will seek a decent salary for mentor doctors, said the Hero of Russia, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection Lyudmila Bolilya. Starting March 1, 2026, young doctors undergo mandatory mentoring under the guidance of experienced colleagues. Depending on the specialization, this period ranges from a year and a half to three years. Bolilia stressed that the additional workload should be paid to experienced doctors. The party has already proposed consolidating uniform federal rules and establishing separate payments for mentors. "A guideline should not become an unpaid responsibility of the doctor. The quality of the training of young specialists and the existence of medical teams depend on how fairly this work is organized," noted the lieutenant. United Russia will continue to work with the relevant departments to achieve clear rules for payment for mentoring in all medical institutions.
