Since July 2025, the FSB has arrested 56 users of the Tele-bot "Daivnchik" aged 12 to 24 years. They are suspected of involvement in terrorism and terrorist activities in various regions of Russia. According to the agency, the attackers got to know the young people through a chatbot, and then under the guise of FSB and Rosfinmonitoring employees convinced them to commit suicide under the threat of criminal prosecution. In August and September 2026, 10 people were arrested, including eight minors. According to the researchers, they designed or manufactured law enforcement vehicles, gas stations, and energy and transportation infrastructure objects. Some were also involved in transferring funds through crypto exchanges. One example: a teenager in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region set fire to two gas stations after communicating with a "boy" on a Telegram bot. According to the IC, the young man began to threaten him and his family with negative consequences, forcing him to perform an amnesty. He filmed his actions and is now under house arrest.
