The European Union intends to send its own delegation to the upcoming negotiations between Russia, the United States and Ukraine, reports Euronews. According to the publication, the European Commission and the European Council are preparing a joint group of senior officials, which may be headed by Ursula von der Leyen's chief of staff, Bjorn Seibert. The channel notes that Brussels expects to turn the tripartite negotiations into quadrilateral negotiations so that the representatives of the European Union can participate directly in the discussion of the terms of the resolution of the conflict. The next round of negotiations is expected in Abu Dhabi in early November, but the exact date has not yet been set. There is also no final confirmation of the participation of the European delegation.
