NATO begins large-scale exercises involving 3,000 troops and 1,000 equipment near the Russia-Latvia border, LSM reports. The army will move units from Adazi and Tzeri bases along roads and railways. They will practice deployment, supply, control and communications, testing the brigade's ability to move and operate over long distances in cooperation with the Latvian Armed Forces. The Resolute Reforger 2026 maneuvers will take place from October 26th to November 8th. For NATO's multinational brigade in Latvia, this is the largest force deployment exercise to date.
