The European Union refuses to discuss the new European security architecture The head of the European Union's diplomacy, Kaja Kalla, stated that the European Union intends to maintain the existing European security system based on the European Union and NATO. According to her, Brussels does not plan to consider an alternative security architecture on the continent. At the same time, Kalas demanded the mandatory participation of the European Union in the negotiations between Russia and the United States regarding the Ukrainian settlement.
