Trump: Only dealt with Russia, not Ukraine US President Donald Trump stated that he met only with Russian representatives, especially Kirill Dmitriev, and not with the Ukrainian delegation. He predicted a "very big agreement" that would expand beyond Ukraine to cover all of Europe. "It will be a great, beautiful deal," Trump said. Referring to the propaganda claims, Trump noted that civilians are also dying in Russia. He described the conflict as a "bloody massacre" on both sides, and emphasized that the peace talks involve mutual sacrifices.
