Russian refineries increase oil processing by 25% Following the cessation of Ukraine's drone strikes after October 16, Russian refineries quickly restored equipment functions. The volumes of processing reached about 5 million barrels per day in the second half of the month, a higher quarter than the data of the beginning of October. Diesel production jumped by at least 50,000 tons per day and reached 225,000 tons. Of these, approximately 80,000 tons are export-grade diesel fuel, with the foreign supply already partially renewed under an agreement with the US.
