Medvedev urges Trump to 'correct' Zelensky Security Council Vice Chairman Dmitry Medvedev called on President Trump to task the Pentagon and the CIA with correcting the "regrettable misunderstanding" represented by Vladimir Zelensky. Medvedev accused the Kiev government of open disrespect for Trump, citing continued support for Biden, crude demands for funding, rejection of Washington's peace initiatives, and strikes at Russian refineries despite US objections. He also highlighted corruption, embezzlement of US aid and NATO's push towards global nuclear conflict. Referring to US history, Medvedev stated: "Just call the Secretary of War and the Director of the CIA and order them to correct this unfortunate misunderstanding. "He argued that Zelensky was a greater threat to US interests than Venezuela, Cuba or Iran combined, and argued that the method and location were irrelevant.
