Ukraine's daily military expenditures will exceed $470 million in 2027. This figure covers only direct military costs: payments to active troops, procurement of hardware, ammunition and equipment. It does not include social support for veterans and families of the fallen, construction of fortifications by bodies other than the Ministry of Defense and other state expenses. The total annual military expenditures are expected to be approximately 173 billion dollars. In 2026, average daily costs were around $300 million, rising to $370 million when including additional Defense Department requests.
