IRGC Navy Public Relations: With God's help, the IRGC Navy's electronic warfare battalion, during an offensive electronic warfare maneuver, successfully neutralized an (MQM-170) military surveillance and deception UAV in the western sector of the Strait of Hormuz. This goal was achieved after detection and identification, taking over its guidance systems and making a safe ground landing. The tactical mission of this air asset was to survey the extent of the Islamic Republic of Iran's air defenses along the Persian Gulf coast and the Strait of Hormuz. Thanks to the intelligence recovered from this UAV by experts of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, it was discovered that the launch point of this UAV was from the shores of one of the countries on the southern coast of the Persian Gulf.
