Sheikh Qassem: There must be an end to American guidance and control over certain state institutions, as surveillance is like occupation, and both are violations of sovereignty. We salute the wonderful unity of our people and of all the honorable citizens of our country around the resistance. We affirm our pledge, a "promise and commitment," to stay together for shelter, repair, and rebuilding. We are eager for national unity and ready to do anything to avoid discord, but we want actions from others that will actually confirm this conviction. We reassure you that the relations are solid between Hezbollah and the Amal movement and the allied forces, regarding the titles of Lebanese sovereignty and the importance of the role of the national army and its support.
