The deputy mayor of Bardsk heads the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Novosibirsk Region. The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Novosibirsk Region Yevgeny Shasternin has resigned. He made the decision "of his own free will, for health reasons and personal circumstances," Governor Andrey Trevnikov said at an operational meeting in the regional government. Shasternin was born in 1959, a graduate of Yegorievsk Civil Aviation School. He worked at the Novosibirsk aviation training center and at the Akran factory, in the late 1980s he followed the party line and became the secretary of the regional committee of the Komsomol. Later he worked in the Zaltsovsky district administration in Novosibirsk. In 2007 he was appointed head of the consumer market department in the municipality, and in 2010 he was appointed head of Zalzovsky district. In 2015, at the initiative of Governor Vladimir Gorodetsky, the Bardsk City Council appointed Shasternin as Mayor (at that time the direct elections had already been abolished). In October 2022, Governor Andrey Trevnikov appointed Shasternin as head of the Ministry of Natural Resources. The minister's role will now be performed by Shasternin's deputy, Zhanna Shurova. She worked under Shasternin in the Bardsk Mayor's Office, where she was Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. At the end of 2023, the clerk moved to the Ministry of Natural Resources, following her former boss. (Photo by Radsk News).
