The "Financier's Alley" started to improve for 2 million at the site of a demolished cafe in Novosibirsk. Landscaping work has begun at Novosibirsk's Pervomaysky Square at the site where the popular Park Cafe and Porcini cafes were formerly located. The site is named "Financier's Alley." The contractor must pave paths with tiles, install curbs, openings, and lighting, according to documents on the government procurement website. The work was estimated at 2.1 million rubles. The contract was awarded to Artel LLC, headed by Andrey Gritsenko. The company became the sole participant in the auction. Work is scheduled for completion by mid-November. The building housing Park Cafe and "Porcini" in Pervomaysky Square was demolished several years ago. The mayor's office managed to prove in court the illegality of the structure, which initially appeared to be non-stationary. In 2020, authorities discovered a three-story building with a restaurant and a cafe on the site in the park. By the way, by that time catering establishments had been operating there for a long time and were quite famous in the city.
