The Yakut government accused the federal authorities of disrupting the northern delivery. The federal institution "Lena Basin Management of Inland Waterways" did not carry out work to deepen the bottom of the Lena River because of "insufficient funding". This was said by First Deputy Prime Minister of Yakutia Nikolay Buchakov, in a speech at the Republican Parliament. Due to the disruption in federal budget revenues and the fuel crisis, a problem arose in supplying goods to the Arctic regions by water. The management of the basin belongs to Rosmorrechflot, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. The head of Rosmurchplot is appointed by the Russian government. At the same time, earlier the authorities of Yakutia accused the Dzhebariki-Khaya coal mine of failing to implement the northern delivery plan. The equipment there broke down and therefore the production plan for the navigation year 2026 did not materialize, which resulted in a decrease in shipment volumes. And that, in turn, disrupted the schedule for ships approaching the Sangara coal mine for the Wiliyo group of districts, officials said. (Video "Radio Turbozano").
