The Central Bank of Syria participates in the "Investment in Syria" conference in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Central Bank of Syria, headed by Governor Safwat Raslan, is participating in the "Invest in Syria" conference held by the German city of Frankfurt from the 8th to the 11th of this month, in response to the invitation of the Frankfurt College of Finance and Management.

The conference brings together representatives of financial, banking and regulatory institutions in Syria, Germany and Europe, in addition to international and national development banks.

During the conference, the central bank presents its vision regarding the priorities of the financial transition phase, and ways to increase the presence of the Syrian banking sector in dialogue with international institutions.

The bank is examining the prospects for opening banking and investment collaborations and partnerships with the participating institutions, which enable the exchange of experiences, the expansion of the sector's openness to international markets and the enjoyment of available opportunities.

It is worth noting that the Central Bank of Syria signed, last September, a cooperation agreement with the Frankfurt University of Financial Sciences and Administration and the German Development Bank (KfW), for the development of banking expertise and capabilities and the development of the capabilities of employees in the sector.
