The Criminal Investigation Department in Aleppo arrested a woman's killer within hours of committing the crime.

The criminal investigation arm of the Internal Security Command in the Aleppo Governorate arrested the so-called "A.B." within a few hours of committing the crime.

The arrested person was involved in the killing of Mrs. Fatima Badhat inside her house in the Halidiya neighborhood, after she was attacked with several stab wounds.

During the investigations it became clear that the person involved in the crime is a relative of the victim and the stolen gold jewelry was found in his possession.

The relevant authorities continue to take the necessary legal steps against the perpetrator, in preparation for referring him to the competent judicial authority.
