Aleppo Governorate announces the start of the construction of an exhibition city near the town of Zarba, under the auspices of President Ahmed Al-Shara'a. Details: The governor of Aleppo, engineer Azzam al-Ahrib, announced the start of work to establish an exhibition city in the province of Aleppo, under the auspices of President Ahmed al-Shara'a, near the town of Zarba in the southern countryside of Aleppo, with a total area exceeding 30 dunams. The project was built on the land of the Zerba poultry facility, which has not been operating since 2012 due to damage to the infrastructure and most of the chickens, which occupied only about 30 percent of the total area. The location of the project assumes strategic importance because it is located on the Damascus-Helab international road and at a distance of 20 kilometers from the city center, which gives it an advantage for attracting economic activities and investments. The representative of the Aleppo Governorate, Abdullah Osso, explained that the project will be implemented in stages, with the first of them starting with the construction of indoor halls with an area of 10,000 square meters and open areas of about 30,000 square meters, and it will take ten months to equip them with parking lots and green areas. Owusu added that the second phase will include the establishment of a mall and a hotel and offering them to investors, which will contribute to stimulating commercial activity and supporting the economic reality of the district.
