The Ministry of Education condoles the death of a child due to an explosion of remnants of war inside a school in Haskah and confirms that preventive measures were taken. Details: The Ministry of Education expressed its condolences on the death of the boy Ahmed Sinjar, following an explosion of remnants of war inside the renovated Abu Rasin Elementary School in the town of Abu Rasin in Kfar Haskah, which caused 8 more children to be injured with various injuries. Haskah's information director announced yesterday the death of the boy and the injury of 8 others as a result of the explosion, noting that the injured were taken to Tal Tamar Hospitals for treatment, while the office explained that one of the students brought the iron object outside the school without realizing its danger. The ministry confirmed its concern for the safety of the students and the educational and administrative staff, and noted that it had disseminated to the education administrations in the governorate the need to take strict preventive measures and raise awareness of the dangers of foreign objects and remnants of war. This is after a circular published by the ministry last October 25, regarding procedures for dealing with mines and suspicious objects in and around schools, including preventing their approach or moving, and to inform the director of emergencies and disasters and the authorities authorized to deal with them.
