Syria participates in the work of the international conference "The Unity of the Middle Nation" in Istanbul Details: The Minister of Endowments, Dr. Muhammad Abu Alkhair Shukri, at the head of a delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic, participated in the work of the international conference "The Unity of the Middle Nation from Permanents to the Treaty of Unity" held in Istanbul, with the participation of about 250 scholars, thinkers and researchers from different countries. The conference will discuss ways to strengthen the unity of the Islamic nation and forge cooperation and joint action to deal with the current challenges. The Minister of Endowments emphasized during his speech that the unity of the nation is a legitimate goal and a way to face challenges, and emphasized the need to overcome differences of opinion and bigotry and prioritize dialogue and solidarity between Muslims. The minister reviewed the Syrian experience in unifying the Islamic discourse, and pointed out that more than 1,800 Syrian scholars signed the treaty for the unity of the Islamic discourse, as a step to strengthen the unity of the ranks and a step towards the unity of the national and global Islamic discourse.
