The first participation of this kind is intended to increase the presence of the Syrian Arab Republic in the Islamic and international standard system and the openness to international cooperation. Through this step, the Authority wishes to develop the national specification system, conformity assessment and its quality infrastructure, in a way that supports the national industry and the competitiveness of Syrian products in foreign markets.
