The Taldhab aid team for "Dama": The war has exacerbated poverty and civil initiatives seek to cover the needs of education and services. Details: Ma'an Abu Elnoor, from the Taldhab city aid team in rural Homs, said in a special statement to the "Sham" network that the years of bombing and displacement left deep effects on the social and animal reality, pushing families to seek refuge in countries such as Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Turkey. Abu Elnoor explained that economic conditions have deteriorated significantly and most people are below the poverty line due to lack of income and high needs, pointing out that the return of the rest of the families faces difficulty in securing housing, work and basic services. He pointed to the launch of local initiatives in Israel and abroad through the "Gold of Gold" committee to restore houses and schools, plant trees and provide heating and solar energy for wells, and emphasized that this is a self-effort in light of the lack of organizations, and that the scope of the damage exceeds the existing capabilities. Abu Elnoor emphasized the suffering of the students in the areas of Kilani and Alkhoridia due to the distance of their schools and the disrupted roads in winter, and called on the organizations and the Ministry of Education to establish schools there to relieve the pressure and deal with dropouts and difficulties adapting to the curricula. He emphasized the need of vulnerable groups for ongoing health and social support and the provision of supplies to people with disabilities and the elderly, such as medical chairs and diapers, in coordination with welfare, and called for the establishment of an association to monitor them and the establishment of the Red Crescent point in the town after the closure of the Kfarala point. He reviewed the reality of the infrastructure, noting the work of the city council to open the blocked sewage canals and operate pumps for the artificial river in cooperation with the regional administration, in addition to replacing dilapidated electrical wires and transformers, and noted that the works do not cover all needs due to a lack of resources. for more
