The Ministry of Energy announces the sending of 250 diesel tanks to Aleppo and Idlib and reveals the causes of the current crisis Details: The Director of Information at the Ministry of Energy, Abdul Hamid Salat, announced that the Syrian Oil Company is working to load and send 250 diesel tanks from Banias to Aleppo and Idlib refineries, as part of the urgent steps to address the diesel crisis, while continuing the supply and distribution operations to the other governorates. Salat confirmed the availability of diesel fuel in the Syrian Oil Company's warehouses, with three tankers anchored at sea and ready for unloading, in addition to additional contract tankers arriving continuously to increase supply continuity. The media director explained that the current diesel crisis stems from attacks against the transportation lines of oil derivatives between Banias and Homs, which led to the cessation of the material's arrival at Homs warehouses, to increased pressure on the loading chutes in Banias and to delaying the execution of orders. Salat said that after the repair of the designated line, work is currently being carried out to restart it and pump the material through it, in preparation for its arrival at humus warehouses and the resumption of loading from them as soon as the quantities are available, to ease the pressure on Banias and increase the supply flow. He noted that these procedures come inside.
