Fingers of blame and questions are directed at the management of the College of Science, represented by its dean, regarding the nature of the steps taken and the extent to which these environmental risks are hidden and the cover-up of cases of pollution and contamination that have been going on for years without radical solutions. Who is responsible for protecting the lives of civilians in the immediate area, as well as teachers and students? Therefore, we demand that an urgent and independent investigation be launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of the Environment and the regulatory authorities, to determine the reality of the laboratories, to hold accountable those who are negligent, to find immediate treatment for the stored materials and to change the drainage networks to ensure the safety of everyone.
