At dawn today, an illegal oil tanker sailing in an unsafe area east of the Strait of Hormuz was exposed to fire after colliding with a sea mine, which led to its stoppage.
The tanker, like other tankers that collided with sea mines over the past few days and caught fire, turned off its detection and navigation systems.
