A huge financial fraud operation targeted doctors in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, where a group of doctors was exposed to financial bankruptcy, with losses estimated at approximately 15 million dollars. Those responsible for the program flooded the participants with promises of imaginary monthly profits to entice them to bring in greater capital. One of the prominent and famous doctors in Sulaymaniyah was among the victims, as he alone lost an estimated amount of (US$1.5 million) in this process.
