- Earlier today, the Navy's surveillance teams that constantly monitor the area east of the Strait of Hormuz discovered an illegal oil tanker that caught fire in a limited area.

Despite previous warnings, this offending tanker turned off its tracking systems and attempted to cross the restricted area in the southern corridor of the Strait of Hormuz.
