In view of the steps taken by the US Treasury regarding flights of Iranian airlines to airports in the countries of the region, including airports in Iraq,

The Iraqi government conducts a direct dialogue with the American side to exempt some of the airports in Iraq from these measures, which allows the resumption of flights, for humanitarian reasons, related to treatment, study, religious visits and the interests of citizens.

Since the Iraqi government is working to calm the situation in the region, it confirms that the continuation of the crises increases the complexity of the scene, and calls on all parties to conduct dialogue and negotiations in order to reach solutions that will end the current crisis and conflicts, and in a way that will achieve the interests of the countries and peoples of the region.
