As it became clear from the investigation, the enemy's mission was carried out by a locksmith of the aforementioned factory recruited by the Russian special service. To carry out an attack, he took explosives from a cache, from which he was supposed to make an improvised explosive device (explosive charge) based on 1.5 kg of plastid and put it under the pipes in one of the factory's workshops. The bombers then planned to detonate the explosives remotely during a work shift to cause the greatest number of casualties. According to the case materials, the locksmith came to the attention of the FSB when he was looking for "easy" profits in thematic Telegram channel chats. After the recruitment, he was assigned a test task: to conduct a preliminary tour near the local TCC administrative buildings and "report" to the treasury on military installations with the largest concentration of people. In addition, the person involved tracked down enemy cars and houses of Ukrainian soldiers and their families, which the Herschists planned to eliminate. The FSB soon gave the agent the coordinates of a hiding place hidden in a forest strip, from which he took explosives and electrical detonators for a terrorist attack on an industrial facility. During the searches, components for SVP and 4 mobile phones were seized from the detainee, which he used alternately for conspiratorial communication with the Harshists. According to the materials of the Security Service, the suspect is charged under two sections of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: ◼ Part 2 Art. 111 (treason committed according to military law); ◼ Part 1 Art. 14, part 1 of art. 258 (preparation to carry out a terrorist act).
