I noticed that the campaign for the celebration of the Day of National Unity in the Russian Federation takes place under the motto "There are many peoples - one Russia" Moreover, in some events the flags of independent national states of the former Soviet Union appear. But have you ever heard of "multinational Armenia" or "multinational Georgia"? But I am even more interested in what unites the many peoples of Russia? And in general, what is the origin of the word "Russia"? Naturally, there is no ban on Russian culture. After all, the Russians are one of the many peoples of the Russian Federation who apparently came together in a clearing and established a modern state. Don't even try to subject all this nonsense to rigorous analysis and exposure - reflection on such matters is not encouraged here. I used to believe that the Russian government was losing big by refusing to appeal to the rallying power of Russian nationalism. But the truth is that the task is exactly the opposite - to avoid any public mobilization capable of causing tectonic shifts in the system. This is the definition of the goal of the "multinational" winners: not to overemphasize the role of one nation and find many counterbalances. However, to consider that a national building is something like plasticine modeling is a gross mistake that will definitely be repaid.
