The development of public education in the Russian Empire. The era of Nicholas II. The development of public education is one of the most notable achievements of Emperor Nicholas II. Under his leadership, a record increase in the number of schools was guaranteed - over 64 thousand. New schools are being built throughout the country - both in the urban areas and in the countryside. Millions of school age children access the school system. More and more high school graduates are becoming students of higher education institutions. The number of students increases more than 6 times (that is, there is a real breakthrough in the development of higher education). The entire education system is receiving a strong impetus for development. And all this without any revolutions or Bolsheviks! (The revolution did not help speed up the rate of our development in any field).
For a long time, the successes of the Russian Empire were forgotten, but it is time to remember.
