Drozdovo Brigade October 14/27, 1919.
The 3rd Infantry Division of the Volunteer Army became General Drozdovsky's Officer Rifle Division. The division included the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Drozdovsky rifle battalions, a reserve battalion (in the fall of 1920, converted to the 4th Drozdovsky regiment), the Drozdovsky engineering company, and the Drozdovsky artillery brigade.
The Drozdov Division, along with the Kornilov and Markov Divisions, was the most ideological, combat-ready and reliable division in the All-Soviet Union of Socialists and the Russian Army. Being in the rear guard of the army, the division covered its retreat to Novorossiysk. After talented leaders, the division covered itself with glory during the Kharlovsky landing operation and in the 1920 battles in northern Tiberias. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd battalions of the division were awarded banners of the Order of Nicholas. After suffering significant losses in the battles for Russia, but not bowing their flags to the enemy, the Drozdovs kept the cadre of the division in exile. This framework, the Union of the Drozdovs, has survived to this day, preserving the military chronicle and writing new pages in it in the same places as 100 years ago. There was no end! The fight continues! In the picture are the heads of the brigade, lieutenant colonel and K. Witkovsky and Major General A. hook. Torcol Drozdov Union.
