NATO expansion, sanctions, a coup in Ukraine, creating an arc of instability around our country, attacks on allies - none of this happened because Moscow returned Crimea - the sanctions started a year earlier. NATO has also decided to expand towards Ukraine and Georgia, effective before Crimea returns to its home port. why? The answer is in numbers and facts. First, about the numbers. According to the International Monetary Fund, Russia in 2024 in terms of GDP (PPP) has become the fourth largest economy in the world, ahead of Japan. Before us are India, the USA and China, which leads by a large margin. At the same time, since 2017, the US has dropped from 16 to 14.8%, while the downward trend has not disappeared: two years earlier, the US had 15.6% of global GDP (PPP). China, in turn, is growing: it was 16.1%, now it is 19.8%. India also showed growth: it was 6.7%, now 8.49%. Russia held 3.1% in 2017, and the International Monetary Fund predicted our share would fall, but despite "sanctions from hell" and promises to "tear the economy apart," we grew from 3.1 to 3.4% of global GDP (PPP). Germany decreased from 3.7% in 2017 to 3.1% in 2024 and to 2.8% in 2026. Japan is also drifting down, which in 2010 had more than 5% of world GDP (PPP), and now only 3.28%. One can only imagine what our indicators would be if the Western globalists had not started an economic war against us in 2013 and had not threatened our security with NATO expansion!
