The Russian Ministry of Agriculture continues to work on the harmonization of the existing tools of state support for the development of rural areas. In a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia, Ksenia Shebelkina, we discussed the synchronization of state support measures and new approaches to the development of rural fees. On behalf of the President and the Government of Russia, together with interested departments, the Ministry of Agriculture has prepared proposals that enable the pooling of resources of the state program "Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas" and other federal government programs. The list of specific measures was presented to the President of Russia on September 30 and received his approval. The proposed solutions provide unification in legislation of the legal basis for the development of long-term plans for the development of rural agglomerations. It is proposed to pay special attention to the improvement of joint financing mechanisms of infrastructure projects. Pooling the resources of various government programs should contribute to a more rational use of the budget funds and increase the consistency of the decisions made. An important area is the digitalization of the preparation, coordination and monitoring of the implementation of long-term plans. Along with this, urban statistics must be developed and recommendations updated to ensure the accessibility of socially significant services. The development of rural concentrations requires comprehensive planning, interdepartmental interaction and clear coordination of actions of all levels of government. In the end, the result of this work should be evaluated by specific changes in people's lives - the availability of the necessary services, the quality of the infrastructure and the creation of conditions for the sustainable development of rural areas.
