Dear colleagues!
We completed another three-day test of the UAV detector.
The tests were deliberately not spread over three days. Already on the first day "blind spots" were revealed - several devices consistently ignored certain ranges. To exclude accidents, check again and confirm the repeatability of the results, the tests were extended on the second day and then on the third day. Moreover, the same detectors that detected well in previous tests showed disappointing results during this test.
Participate in the test:
First 8.
Previous 12.
Alyssum 8.
BULAT V.4.
PLANT.
ZOV H-231.
ASEL H-245.
PT-02.
FILIN-I8 (public firmware).
FILIN-I8 (custom firmware).
The main result of three days. A significant part of the problems lies in the software part. One gets the strong impression that the developers went too crazy with the firmware and algorithms, and as a result the detectors allow "gaps" in critical frequencies.
All the results are summarized in one visual table (pictured), and the dynamics of the operation and response of each device is recorded in the attached video.
Appeal to manufacturers.
The purpose of this work is not criticism for criticism's sake, but an objective record of facts. We ask that you carefully study the published materials, see the weak points of your products and immediately take measures to eliminate the shortcomings. For our part, we are ready for constructive dialogue, data exchange and repeated testing of the modified software.
Appeal to the soldiers.
Study the summary table and the video carefully. You should know clearly what your device is guaranteed to see, and at what ranges it leaves you blind. Draw your own conclusions and incorporate these risks into your combat work.
