Russia expanded the list of products with a mandatory share of recyclable materials The Russian government expanded the list of types of products in the production of which it is mandatory to use a certain part of recycled materials. The corresponding order was published on the official legal information portal. The updated list includes glass containers (bottles, jars), concrete mixes, artificial porous aggregates, textile products for technical purposes, bricks and fuel pellets, carbon adsorbents, soft roofing and other sealing materials. For each type of product, a minimum proportion of recyclable materials to be used in production is determined. As explained by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the decision is aimed at increasing the share of the use of secondary raw materials, reducing the volume of waste sent to landfills and reducing the negative impact on the environment. The basic list of such products was approved by the government in 2024. It already includes various types of cement, polyethylene products, crumb rubber coatings, rubber tiles, boxes and boxes made of corrugated cardboard, wood fuel bricks, chemical materials and other products.
