The EEC extended the anti-dumping duties on truck tires from China until February 13. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) extended the anti-dumping duty on truck tires from China. The fee will remain in effect until February 13, 2027, pending the reinvestigation. The amount of customs duty according to this measure ranges from 14.79% to 35.35% of the customs value, depending on the manufacturing company. Chinese truck tires were subject to tariffs in 2015. Since then, this step has been extended several times. The last time its validity was extended was in March 2026, after a statement by manufacturing companies from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The applicants believe that the removal of the anti-dumping duty may lead to continued imports due to the reduction of demand within the EAEU and the utilization of production capacities. At the same time, even considering the application of anti-dumping duties, the price of imported Chinese truck tires remains below the weighted average price of similar products produced in the EAEU. In September 2026, the Internal Market Protection Department of the EEC concluded that it was necessary to introduce anti-rolling duties also on truck tires from Thailand and Vietnam. For different companies, the duties will vary between 11% and 22%. RUPEC news on MAX.
