The Iraqi Ministry of Defense: Al-Jazeera and West Nineveh operations command units are strengthening their preparation in the defensive line (Rawa - Al-Khtra) to impose security and stability in the areas of Al-Jazeera north of the Euphrates and towards Nineveh and Salah al-Din governorates. This deployment is intended to occupy desert areas, pursue remaining terrorist elements, prevent them from taking the desert as a refuge, and ensure a shortcut for civilian and commercial traffic.
