The Iraqi Ministry of Defense: The Al-Jazeera and West Nineveh operations command units have begun strengthening their deployment in the defensive line (Rawa - Al-Hadar) to impose security and stability in the Al-Jazeera areas north of the Euphrates and towards the Nineveh and Salah al-Din governorates. This deployment is intended to occupy the desert areas, to pursue the remaining terrorist elements and prevent them from using the desert as a refuge, and in addition to providing a shortcut for civilian and commercial traffic, which contributes to supporting investment, agriculture and grazing activities.
